    1. Download Viber Installer for Linux Mint:
      Here Viber .deb 64bit Package
    2. Open a Shell Terminal emulator window
      (Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)

      which gdebi

      If Not there (No Output) then:

      sudo apt-get install gdebi

      If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then Look: Solution

    4. Installing Viber for Linux Mint
      sudo gdebi ~/Downloads/viber.deb
    5. Making a Viber Symlink for Easy Launching from Terminal
      sudo ln -s /opt/viber/Viber /usr/local/bin/viber

      Launching from Terminal:

    6. Editing the Viber App Launcher (Amend the Paths)
      sudo nano /usr/share/applications/viber.desktop

      Change the Exec & Path as:


      Ctrl+x to Save & Exit from nano Editor 🙂
